You should check out the housing only in the Copenhagen area, which includes Fredericksberg, part of Amager (exclude Taastrup, Tarnby…etc.), Nørrebro, Østerbro, Vesterbro…in short, just anywhere that is either in Fredericksberg or says “København/Kbh”.
Just to make sure where it’s at, you can log on to http://www.rejseplan.com/
and see how far it is and how to get there from your current address.
On dba.dk, it costs some money to obtain the email address or telephone number of the renter.
Usually student housing is around or less than 3000. Also check the date of availability.
There are of course some other sites that provide housing information, such as http://www.lejebolig.dk/
But as I have never used any of the above methods when I got my place, I can’t guarantee what you’ll be able to find. If you can get some help from the international office, I guess that’ll be better in term of safety…maybe.. Well, good luck and see you around!
